The Scottish Government have just released their COVID-19 Routemap. This indicates that dental practices will be able to open in Phase 2 initially to see emergency cases only, followed by Phase 3 by further routine procedures that do not involve aerosols.
We are currently waiting on the publication of guidelines from the Scottish Dental Clinical Effectiveness Program (SDCEP), due on Monday 25th May. This should give us a clear indication as to the equipment and protocols we need to have in place at One Dental to make the Practice a safe environment for patients and staff. This in turn should allow us to open as soon as possible when permitted by the Scottish Government.
In the meantime we would again like to thank all of our loyal patients for their understanding through these difficult times, and reassure that we are here to answer the phone and advise you in any way that we can. Please do not hesitate to get in touch.
