We are pleased to announce that from Monday 22nd June One Dental will be open to attend to SOME of their own “emergency” cases. Principally those things that do not involve what is known as an “Aerosol Generating Procedure ( AGP )” – roughly speaking not using a high speed drill or scaler. Contact for an emergency appointment will continue to be triaged by a practice dentist to determine if an appointment is required at this time.
WE DO STRESS THAT FROM MONDAY 22nd JUNE THIS IS FOR EMERGENCY TREATMENT ONLY – PLEASE DO NOT PHONE UNLESS YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY.
This represents Phase 2 of practice re-opening. The intention of the Scottish Government is that fairly soon after we can move to Phase 3. In this next Phase we would be able to commence non-emergency appointments such as examinations, x-rays, denture work and reviews among others for all patients providing they do not require the use of an AGP. It is our intention to commence these as soon as reasonably possible to ensure the continued care of our patients.
The One Dental Team will contact those people who have been in contact with the Practice over the lockdown period so far when we know we can arrange appointments.
We have been working very hard as a team to ensure that the patient journey at the Practice is as safe and effective as possible. You will be given further pre-appointment advice both in person on the telephone and via TEXT message to reflect the strict guidelines in place to reduce the transmission of COVID19. Please do contact us again in advance of your appointment if there are any changes to your personal Medical condition or if you exhibit any of the signs or symptoms of COVID19.
PLEASE ONLY PHONE US IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY OR WOULD LIKE ADVICE FROM YOUR DENTIST.
Thank you again for your loyalty and patience.
